About Us

Our Mission is to offer a supportive, Christian environment where each child is acknowledged and valued as a unique individual. We believe that students flourish when they are curious, engaged, and actively involved in their learning. To support this, we implement a thematic curriculum that integrates students' interests with District learning goals and PA State Learning Standards, enriching classroom experiences in a significant way.

​Embracing the philosophy that "Play is the Work of the Child," we incorporate hands-on activities like experiments, painting, crafting, and cooking. These experiences help students explore essential concepts in math, science, art, communication, sharing, and cooperation while having fun. This approach fosters a deep understanding of key concepts, builds positive self-esteem, and encourages independence.​

 

Our dedicated staff, including Lead Teachers with degrees in Education and professionals with at least one year of educational experience, are committed to maintaining high standards of care and instruction. To ensure ongoing excellence, all staff members engage in continuous professional development and training throughout the school year, including CPR and First Aid certification. Additionally, Crossroads offers Before and After School Enrichment programs for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade, further supporting academic growth and social development.
