Holy Trinity Weekday Schools
The Holy Trinity Weekday Schools are outreach programs of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. These programs provide families with services to enrich your child's development and help them to succeed in school and in life.
We welcome all families to our schools! We provide a safe, caring, educational environment to support your child as they grow. We have many programs and options to fit your needs. Our school is comprised of two “sister” programs- the Holy Trinity Preschool, which serves children ages 3 through Kindergarten, and the Crossroads program, which serves students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Holy Trinity Preschool, serving children aged 2 1/2 years through Kindergarten.
K-Club, a Kindergarten Complement program for students in the Wallingford - Swarthmore School District.
Crossroads, Before and After School Enrichment for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Our Staff is made up of experienced professionals. Our Lead Teachers all hold degrees in Education, and all staff have a minimum of one year experience in an educational setting. All staff participate in ongoing professional development and training through the school year, including CPR and First Aid.
Holy Trinity Preschool (formerly Holy Trinity Nursery School) est. 1970
Holy Trinity Preschool provides school readiness programs designed to achieve goals of social, emotional, and academic growth. Our programs prepare students for a successful school experience in a nurturing environment. We meet our goals through daily structured lessons in both large and small groupings, fine and gross motor activities, creative free choice activities, art, stories, and music.
We keep our class sizes and teacher-child ratios low, (1:6 in our 3's; 1:8 in our 4's, 5's and K), to allow our dedicated teachers to reach the needs of every child.
Our classes are taught by Lead Teachers, possessing a 4-year degree in education, and an Assistant Teacher. All staff are thoroughly background checked and possess certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. The staff attend professional development twice per year to keep them abreast of the latest in curriculum and educational research.
